Border protection of a different kind?

If you might think that protecting your data adequately doesn’t make much of a sense, because your are not the kind of person that border police on the US lines would check, I would suggest to think about it a second time after having read this guide.

These security / protection recommendations don’t apply only on a trip to the US, but to all your journeys and especially your entire life. Keep in mind to protect your data anywhere and at anytime they are.

Cortana goes on Air

It’s been quite while since the last post, but don’t worry we’re here and watching, even when we’re not present daily on the blog.

This Friday (28th October ’11) evening at 20h30 hackers from C3L and syn2cat will join Radio ARA and the show Lët’z Hack! to discuss the Cortana project for an entire hour on Air supported by good old and new fashioned 8-bit, chiptune and nerdcore music.

Updates will follow soon after this one. A small sneak preview? We’ll finally move to a new server soon.

CCC – 30 years young

Dear fellow CCC hackers!

Today 30 years ago the idea of the Chaos Computer Club (CCC) has been developed in the editorial rooms of the daily newspaper Taz. To celebrate this day, the history, the clubs achievements and some more, we’ll watch some documentaries of the CCC at the ChaosMeeting tonight.

We’ll conclude the evening with some hacking in the wireless area.

C3L Projects

Time to give this fella a short update.

In the C3L Wiki you now have again a clear structured Projects page on which you can follow what C3L members are working on and get a look into it. If you have some more ideas or want to join a project or give feedback, please don’t mind to contact us.

WarDriving is currently a beloved topic, even though it is already an “older” topic, but still there is always a way to bring it to a next, probably even more interesting step.

See you folks around!
